19 Fuel-Laden Ships Arrive Lagos Ports

Details provided by the authority indicated that 14 of the vessels were carrying petrol, four conveyed aviation fuel (JetA1), while the last had 5,500 tonnes of kerosene (DPK). Ten other ships are waiting to berth at the ports. The ports are expected to remain busy in August as 111 ships are expected to arrive with assorted cargoes. Among the vessels are 27 expected to deliver petroleum products, including 6 carrying kerosene and 5 with diesel (AGO), NPA said. Three ships are expected to discharge base oil , while 12 will discharge second-hand vehicles; and 39 others merchandise, including rice, bulk meat and soya beans.
